Sharon Walters appears on the new BBC1 show Make it at Market as an artist mentor. The show follows a group of budding arts and crafts entrepreneurs, as they navigate making a living from their work. Episodes are available for catch up on BBCiPlayer and Britbox.

Aesthetica Magazine featured Sharon in a recent article exploring her artistic process and the themes around her work of human fragility and strength in vulnerability. The feature delves into the inspiration behind Sharon's work and her recent solo exhibition at MAC.

In the article Sharon touches on the power of reframing and reclaiming agency through the mechanism of art. The article reflects on how Sharon incorporates contemporary imagery as well as personal imagery in her work, creating a cacophony of voices and rejecting the notion of "a single black narrative".
